Copper8 runs the Circular Procurement Academy once again

on 31 August 2018

Circular procurement is an important tool in the transition to the circular economy. There’s a reason that Dutch Secretary of State van Veldhoven mentioned circular procurement as one of the ten umbrella measures in her Cabinet response (in Dutch) to the five transition agendas. PIANOo, the Expertise Center for Public Procurement, is therefore organizing a training course for the third consecutive year, for organizations subject to mandatory tendering that want to focus more on circular procurement. We are very proud that we are able to give this training for the third time, because training others contributes to our aim of becoming dispensible.

About 60 participants from some 30 organizations are trained at the Circular Procurement Academy. The participants are taken through eight modules covering all aspects of circular procurement, including asking the right questions, stimulating value chain collaboration, measuring and assessing circularity, circular revenue models and circular contracting. The participants learn by directly applying the knowledge they gain to their own procurement pilot.

Unfortunately, the maximum number of registrations for the Circular Purchasing Academy has been reached. If you want to find out more about the program, you can contact PIANOo or email Sybren at Copper8.
