Copper8 nominated for the ABN AMRO Sustainable 50!

on 03 April 2019

The Copper8 team has been committed to sustainable and circular construction for 11 years. This year, our efforts have been rewarded once again with a nomination for the ABN AMRO Sustainable 50 (Duurzame 50 in Dutch). On Wednesday 10 April, the Sustainable 50 will be celebrated at the Green Tie Gala at Building Holland, where the number 1 spot will be announced.

In 2018, the Copper8 team made an impact in the circular building economy, by completing iconic projects such as the QO Hotel. We also completed some ambitious tenders, such as the Rijn and IJssel Water Board’s innovative building and the City of Amsterdam’s Vondeltuin. We help different parties in the construction value chain with their circular strategies, and we also contribute to the government-wide transition to the circular economy as members of the Transition Team for the Circular Building Economy. Fortunately, we still have plenty of energy, and we will continue to work on exciting flagship projects and help develop the right policy setting for a large-scale transition in the coming years.

We congratulate all our fellow nominees, and everyone who works hard on the sustainable transition, whether they’re in the spotlight or behind the scenes.
