Dennis is described by friends and family as sincere, interested in everything and everyone, and entrepreneurial. But he can also be quite headstrong. He calls it stubborn optimism.

His driven attitude stems from the deep concerns Dennis has about the world around him, which has already changed enormously in his still short life. He wants to contribute to a world that is a pleasant and livable place not only for current but also for future generations.

He also wants to enjoy this beautiful world himself. He has plenty of sustainable dreams, from sailing around the world to growing his own food in a vegetable garden. But first, he still needs to learn the necessary skills. With his stubborn optimism, he has full confidence he will get there. In the meantime, he is happy with his life in Amsterdam, where he can make an impact at Copper8 and, in his free time, can often be found on or around the Amsterdam canals with friends and family.
