In January, Ritika Utmani started at Copper8 as a graduation intern. In the coming months, she will delve into the topic ‘the Value of Circular Construction’, with guidance from Copper8 and Base Value.
In order to accelerate the transition to a circular construction economy, it is important that circular strategies are applied more often. One of the challenges is related to current real estate valuation methods. Real estate today is often based on historical data and expected rental or sales income; little account is taken of the adaptivity of buildings and the reuse of components.
Ritika is originally from India, and she is currently studying Construction Management and Engineering at TU Delft.
